How Nawa handles your information

Plain English, no small print. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.

What we collect

From the contact form: your name, email and message. From the registration form: your name, email and mobile, your child's first name, grade, band and preferred cycle, and anything you choose to write in the notes box — which may include allergies or access needs. From the resources page: the email you give before a download.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, to place your child in the right group, and to prepare properly for children who need us to. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell anything to anyone.

Who can see it

Nawa's founder. Nothing is shared with other parents or with third parties, other than the technical suppliers that run the site and its email — they process data on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries for up to one year. Registrations for as long as your child attends Nawa, and up to two years afterwards. Download emails until you ask us to stop. We delete earlier on request.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We act on deletion requests within thirty days. You never have to fill in the notes box to register.

About children's information

Registration is completed by a parent or guardian, not by a child. We ask for a first name only, never a surname, a date of birth or a photograph. Health and access details are stored so our teachers can support your child safely, and are seen only by the people who need them.

Getting in touch

Email seednawa@gmail.com with 'privacy' in the subject line and we will come back to you.
